DAY 1 - THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 4

BIENVENIDOS

 

Welcome to Peru!

Arrivals – guests will fly into Lima’s Jorge Chavez International Airport (LIM), and transfer to the hotel.

 

Check into the Belmond Miraflores Park

Settle into this five-star property where Lima’s contemporary spirit and vibrant social scene is paired with the pinnacle of Limeño luxury.

 

Welcome drink at the hotel’s rooftop bar

Ascend to the rooftop for spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean and a taste of the world famous Pisco Sour cocktail, as you meet your fellow travelers on this epic adventure.

 

Dinner at Pardos Larco Mar

Our first meal will be at a locals’ favorite – and there’s a reason this spit-roasted chicken chain is so beloved. They make some of the freshest, most flavorful roast chicken, along with many delicious sides, in the city – to be washed down with the local beer.

DAY 2 - FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 5

Urban Kitchen Cooking Class

After breakfast at the hotel, we’ll head out into this vibrant capital city, taking the short but picturesque walk to the Urban Kitchen. Here we’ll enjoy a unique gastronomic experience with chefs who specialize in real Peruvian food, starting at a farmers market and ending with a private cooking class.You’ll make dishes like the famous causa, of course ceviche, and also your own Pisco Sour.

We hope you’ve saved some room for lunch, because we’ll be dining on more of Peru’s world-famous authentic cuisine, in a place that feels like home.

Dinner at Huaca Pucllana

We’re in for a treat tonight: this tiny restaurant is dedicated to modern interpretations of Peruvian classics, using all the freshest and most flavorful ingredients. And of course, more Pisco Sours and a well-curated selection of South American wines.

DAY 3 - SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 6

SURF & TURF

 

Pre-breakfast surfing lesson

Surf’s up! And you will be too. As dawn breaks over the Pacific, slip into a private surf session along Lima’s serene coastline. Guided by expert instructors, you’ll ride gentle morning waves as the city awakens behind you – an energizing start before an authentic, flavor-driven breakfast.

 

Authentic Peruvian breakfast

Returning refreshed, you’ll seamlessly transition into a breakfast that celebrates the country’s vibrant flavors and world-renowned ingredients. Pan con chicharrón is the local’s favorite breakfast of champions.

 

Guided walking tour of Lima

Discover Lima’s layered history on a private guided walk through its most storied neighborhoods. From colonial architecture to vibrant local culture, each step reveals the city’s rich heritage – and along the way we’ll enjoy small tastings that highlight Peru’s celebrated culinary scene.

 

Lunch at Piedra

Settle in for a leisurely lunch at Piedra Cocina Libre, where open-fire cooking and seasonal ingredients take center stage and there is no menu. Each dish is a thoughtful expression of Peru’s diverse landscapes – paired with refined technique and a relaxed, elegant atmosphere.

Dinner at Central

Conclude the day with an extraordinary tasting experience at Central, where each course explores Peru’s diverse ecosystems—from sea level to the Andes. DAY 4 - SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 7

Walking food tour of Barranco

Wander through Barranco’s bohemian streets on a guided culinary walk, where art, history and flavor intertwine. Along the way, enjoy curated tastings – from traditional bites to contemporary creations – offering a vibrant, insider’s perspective on Lima’s dynamic food scene.

 

Lunch at a local insider favorite

Venture off the beaten path to a beloved local gem, selected for its authenticity and understated excellence. Whether a hidden bistro or lively neighborhood spot, this experience offers a genuine taste of Lima – where exceptional flavors meet the city’s true culinary spirit.

Dinner at La Mar

Celebrate Lima’s coastal bounty with a vibrant dinner at La Mar, where Peru’s iconic ceviches and seafood specialties take center stage. Bright flavors, pristine ingredients, and a lively seaside atmosphere come together for an effortlessly sophisticated dining experience.

DAY 5 - MONDAY, NOVEMBER 8

CUSCO DISCOVERY

 

Transfer to airport

After a fresh breakfast we’ll transfer as a group to the Lima Airport, where we’ll catch our flight to Cusco.

 

Arrival in Cusco, check in to our hotel

Set high in the Andes, Cusco is a living tapestry of Incan heritage and colonial grandeur, where ancient stonework and vibrant culture converge in one of South America’s most historically rich cities. After our arrival, we’ll be transferred to our hotel, the Belmond Monasterio – a peaceful retreat where opulent design and spiritual energy abound.

 

Guided visit to San Pedro Market

Step into the vibrant heart of Cusco at San Pedro Market, where a private guide leads you through colorful stalls brimming with local produce, spices, and traditional specialties. This immersive visit offers an authentic glimpse into daily life, enriched by curated tastings that showcase the region’s rich culinary heritage.

Guests should fly into Lima’s Jorge Chavez International Airport (LIM), and then transfer via taxi (or The Vines can help arrange transfers (not included in the trip cost)) to the hotel.

Accommodations

In Lima (4 nights), we’ll stay at the Belmond Miraflores Park, a five-star property where Lima’s contemporary spirit and vibrant social scene is paired with the pinnacle of Limeño luxury.
In Cusco (1 night), we’ll stay at the Belmond Monasterio – a peaceful retreat where opulent design and spiritual energy abound.
