Situated in a bountiful valley between the Cascade Mountains and Pacific Ocean, the climate is cooler than neighboring winegrowing regions to the south in California. This creates ideal growing conditions for elegant Pinot Noir as well as beautifully balanced, crisp, Chardonnay and Pinot Gris. Though its annual production is relatively small, Willamette Valley wines punch well above their weight and can proudly take their place on the world stage next to any famous Burgundy.
